How to Does an Affiliate Program Work?

If you haven't participated in an affiliate program before, here's how it works. You insert information about our products on your web site in the form of text, banners, and/or pictures. Included in this information is a unique tracking code. When a visitor to your site clicks on the text, banner or pictures which contain the unique tracking code and then proceeds to purchase an item from our web site, you receive a commission on each and every item they buy! You can sign up to join our program online. Once you're accepted, you'll be sent an email directing you to our log-in page where you'll be given a unique Affiliate ID. Log into this page at any time to get custom-formatted banners, images and text links and statistics that track your commissions earned.


How Do I Get Started?

It's easy to become an Affiliate of HandyDeck Systems. Just follow these simple steps... and you can start earning a commissions right away from every sale your website links generate.

• Go to HandyDeck Affiliate Sign-up page, fill in the application form and submit it to us

• After we have received and reviewed your application, we will send you an e-mail giving you login access to our main affiliate page

• Login to this main affiliate page to get text links, banner ads and image links for HandyDeck products that will contain your personalized tracking code... which you will then simply insert wherever you want on your own website

• Promote these links and begin earning a 10% commission on every sale
   

Who Can Participate?

Just about anybody! Whether you run a large commercial web site, an opt-in home improvement newsletter, a small personal blog, a non-profit site... or anything in between, you're welcome to apply to join the program.


How Much Does it Cost?

There are no fees or charges. It costs nothing to join our Affiliate Program.


How are Sales Tracked from My Site?

---

After your application has been processed, you will be sent an email giving log in access to our main affiliate page where you will be given a unique Affiliate ID. From that page, you will have access to custom-formatted links for banner ads, text links and product images that will ensure that traffic coming in to us from your site is properly tracked. We maintain a 180-day cookie, meaning that if a visitor clicks on a link from your site, you are credited with the sale as long as the visitor purchases within that first six months. Because HandyDeck Decking Tiles are a somewhat a seasonal product, this approach allows you to receive commission for a sale where, for example, the customer might first see our product in October from a link on your site, but decides to wait until Spring to actually purchase the Decking Tiles.


How Much Will I Earn?

Affiliates earn a commission of 10% based on the total invoiced sales value. And affiliates who generate more than $10,000 worth of sales in any calendar month will receive a bonus commission of 2% for that month!


How are Transactions Recorded?

All transactions from your web site are recorded in real time... meaning that all impressions, links and sales are tracked instantly. The affiliate area of our site has various reports and tracking resources to let you know how your links are performing. You can use these reports to find out which of your links are performing the best and to optimize your site for maximum sales value.


How and When Do I Get Paid?

Affiliates are paid when the commission balance reaches a minimum value of $100... or monthly, if commissions exceed $100 in any calendar month. You have the choice of being paid by PayPal or by check.


How Do I Create Links?

You can get links including text links, image links and banners from the main Affiliate Program log-in page. If you prefer, you can create links of your own, as long as they don't violate our affiliate policies.


Is There a Data Feed?

Because we only have a select range of products, we do not plan to offer a product data feed.
